Ms. Janis Daddona – Vicars Warden

As the Vicars Warden, Janis handles the administrative responsibilities of the parish as well as the music used in the liturgy. A lifelong resident of Connecticut, Janis has sojourned in many wonderful faith communities. She improbably stumbled upon the Old Catholic Church while reading a world religion textbook, and then discovered there was a parish in her own backyard! (God does work in mysterious ways after all.) She loves the generosity of spirit and doctrine in this branch of Catholicism, focusing as it does on inclusion and the Mystery of Faith. Janis holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from UConn-Stamford, a Master’s degree in Counseling from Fairfield University, and a day job as a consulting grant writer for many inspiring nonprofit organizations.
