About Us
Established on Ash Wednesday 2017, the Old Catholic Parish of Saint Patrick is the first Old Catholic Church in Trumbull, CT. The Old Catholic Parish of St. Patrick is a canonical parish of the U.S Prelature for Old-Catholics (Old Catholic Confederation).
As a community of witnesses of the orthodox Christian faith, we embrace the authority of the Holy Gospel and the Sacred Tradition of the Apostles, faithful to the first seven Ecumenical Councils, professing the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed in its original ancient formula.
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and to minister to our brothers and sisters in Christ with the Sacraments of the Church, most especially in the Celebration of the divine Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist, for our conversion, salvation and communion with God.
As Christians, we are committed to the service of humanity, and especially the poor, the needy and all those who suffer oppression, by our prayerful solicitude and works of love and mercy, so that we might contribute to peace and justice on earth.
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, through the intercession of the Holy Theotokos, we dedicate ourselves to a life of penance, love and forgiveness.
